To address the critical meter shortage and eliminate estimated billing for end-users, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) initiated the Meter Asset Provider (MAP) scheme. Our company was selected as a key supplier supplying 90,000 units of smart prepaid meters, specifically designed to meet Nigerian specifications, including keypad support, tamper detection, and communication capabilities. We executed a phased delivery plan, ensuring all meters arrived on schedule to support a continuous installation rollout. Our team also provided complete technical documentation, training for local installers, and remote support to ensure a smooth deployment and system integration. All 90,000 meters were successfully delivered and deployed, directly connecting thousands of residential and commercial customers.
